Arby’s is a global fast-food chain restaurant with approximately 3,200 restaurants worldwide. The company is an affiliate of Triarc Companies Inc. and boasts a versatile menu consisting of roast beef sandwiches and many other things. Arby’s was founded in Boardman, Ohio on July 23, 1964 by Forrest Raffel and his younger brother Leroy, popularly known as the Raffel Brothers.

In the 1950s, they had acquired a restaurant equipment company from their uncle, which was later transformed into the fast food chain. After fruitless talks with the original owner of this brand name, an Akron businessman, the restaurant was supposed to be called “Big Tex,” but they ultimately decided on Arby’s instead.

After opening, Arby’s quickly expanded through franchising in the 1970s and 1980s. The chain had about 2,500 franchise locations and 330 company-owned stores by 1995. The first eatery to open only offered drinks, a roast beef sandwich, and potato chips. Prior to the later launch of additional units, it functioned as a single unit for approximately a year.

Arby’s does offer a few salads that are gluten-free, and many of the ingredients they use are also thought to be gluten-free. If you were going to order a sandwich, you would have to eat it without the bun because they do not, regrettably, offer a gluten-free bread substitute. Sending.

No gluten free buns. The fryer used to cook fries is also used to cook gluten-containing foods. The remainder of my party wanted to order several other items, but they were out of stock. Workers didn’t give a damn if they were hungry or performed a good job. If you need GF stay away.

I ordered a half-pound beef n cheddar with no bun. When I informed them that I had celiac disease, they offered to change their gloves and take extra care when preparing my food. The assistant manager, Samantha, was extremely understanding and informed about allergies and cross-contamination. This is not exclusive to this place; I’ve discovered that many Arby’s are sensitive to my celiac disease.

Few options, but accessible from the freeway and open on holidays, making it convenient for travel I had a salad with excellent bacon, cheese, and turkey. Although I do not have a gluten sensitivity, I do experience severe reactions. The menu is on the corporate web site.

It was really comforting to feel a little more at ease in a restaurant that advertised itself as gluten-free!

One person changed gloves but several ppl touched our order. I had to watch like a hawk. The website no longer lists the turkey salad, and the chicken salad that is currently offered isn’t mentioned either. Since they weren’t sure if chicken was safe, they offered to make turkey instead. It was a decent salad. Turkey and bacon were good and I’m feeling ok.
