A creamy pasta dish called ground beef Alfredo is made with hamburger meat, parmesan cheese, pureed garlic, and Italian seasoning.

I added some lean ground beef to a large nonstick skillet and heated it over medium-high heat while the pasta was cooking.

Step one: Fill a large pot 1/2 full with water. (At least 4 cups of water. ) Bring the water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon salt to the boiling water. Add the pasta and boil according to package directions. Once pasta has finished cooking, drain off the water.

Step two: Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat while the pasta is boiling. Make sure to break up the beef while cooking. Cook until it’s browned.

Step three: Add the diced onion, ground black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and Italian seasoning. Cook for one to two minutes. Stir in minced garlic. Add the creamy alfredo sauce and heat for an additional two to three minutes, or until thoroughly heated.

Step four: Add the cooked pasta that has been drained to the sauce mixture. Optional – Top with grated parmesan cheese. Serve warm.

  • Try using a large, deep skillet for this recipe.
  • Drain off any excess grease from the ground beef. This will assist in avoiding an excessively thin and greasy sauce.
  • Don’t forget to add the salt to the pasta water. This adds flavor to the pasta.

Pasta: Use egg noodles, penne, rotini, shells, or even macaroni in place of the macaroni.

Vegetables: Diced bell pepper, steamed broccoli, peas, or diced carrots can be added to add some color and vegetables.
